Quinn is a snarky, underappreciated portal painter—unsung heroes who traps the kingdom’s Gunq (a nightmarish, sentient ooze) in their paintings while the knights take all the credit. When their digital mermaid assistant, Jolene, hires them a ride share, Quinn hops into the car of Colt, the kingdom’s most famous (and ridiculously buff) knight.
Colt is fascinated by Quinn’s work and offers to be their personal chauffeur—if he can watch them paint. Quinn is annoyed (knights are the worst), but Jolene insists it’s good for their career (and their non-existent love life).
But when Sandrine, Quinn’s smug rival, gets up to her latest scheme the kingdom finds itself staring down a Gunq invasion, Quinn and Colt must team up with even her to save the kingdom. Turns out, love, art, and ooze-slaying go better together!
